On 9th October, 2024, the Mizoram Sports Incentive Cash Award was distributed to Meritorious Sportspersons at Dawrpui Multipurpose Centre, Aizawl. A total of 416 Mizo athletes received the Cash Award. Pu Lalnghinglova Hmar, Hon'ble Minister of State, Sports & youth Services, etc was the Chief Guest of the programme. Pu Lalramsanga Sailo, IRS, Secretary, Sports & Youth Services Department was the chairman.
